The Municipal IU-Greens has called urgently immediately reverting elements preventing access to step-level "Way of Schools" and signaling can proceed again to prevent a vehicle break down the barriers that limit access and thus ensure the safety of all users involved.
The level crossing "School Road", is known in the region because in 1998 an accident occurred where they were involved a resident of Puerto Lumbreras driving a heavy vehicle which resulted in the death of a woman traveling on the train, towards Murcia.
Following this accident were carried out the necessary work and traffic was diverted from the level crossing to the bridge is in the "Carretera de la Plata" and on the other hand is just a few meters.
At the same time came to cut and prevent the movement of vehicles by that crossing.
However, in past dates any vehicle traveling on said road broke down the barriers that prevented you could cross, being now without any signaling to prevent its passage without barriers, so that any vehicle not know the area, you can access it without any problems and cross the same, with the danger that entails both the safety of the railway travelers, and for the users of this road.
