The departments of Education, Social Policy and Public Safety have boosted XI Awareness Campaign Against Truancy in IES Nogalte Rambla.
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the departments of Education, Social Policy and Public Safety, has launched the eleventh Truancy Campaign aimed at students of Secondary School Nogalte Rambla.
Specifically, 166 students of 1st ESO have attended this conference with that "not only is to prevent truancy, but we aim to turn motivate students and explain all opportunities and alternatives offered by the current system education for further employment, "said the Councillor for Education, Maribel Martinez.
Thus, this new edition of the Awareness Campaign Against Truancy includes various lectures by professionals from the local police in Puerto Lumbreras and a municipal social worker responsible for the Truancy Program, and a psychologist specializing in this area.
This year the conference will focus on first-year students of ESO, and incorporate information about truancy, rights and duties of children, as well as new blocks and related career opportunities and educational pathways to favor "motivating students" .
