Puerto Lumbreras has hosted the traditional "Fun Run of Station", held on the occasion of the celebrations in honor of the Immaculate hamlet lumbrerense-Esparragal Station.
Specifically, more than 400 athletes from within and outside the Region of Murcia have gathered in this sports event organized by the Esparragal Sports Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
In this regard, participants were categories of 0 to 6 years male and female (100 meters), male and female (500 meters) prebenjamines; youngest and female (1,000 meters) fry, male and female children (1,500 meters) Benjamin; female cadet and juvenile male (2,000 meters), child and male (3,000 meters) cadet, junior, junior, senior, promises and female (3,000 meters) veterans, male (5,000 meters) veterans, youth, junior, senior, male promises ( 5000 meters).
Also, the first three finishers in each category have earned a trophy.
In addition, the absolute champions in male and female category were presented with a ham.
