Ballooning, inflatables and train rides were some of the activities that have taken place in the town to promote shopping at local businesses.
The balloon, located on the boardwalk Nogalte, allowed citizens to fly 30 meters high and enjoy panoramic views of the town from above.
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Commerce, Industry and SMEs, has carried out a campaign under the slogan "Your purchases in Puerto Lumbreras," to encourage local trade during the weekends with activities and workshops commercial areas of the municipality, and ballooning.
Specifically, this weekend, more than 1,000 people have been able to climb the globe and enjoy panoramic views of the village.
The balloon, located on the boardwalk Nogalte, allowed citizens flying to 30 meters high.
This free activity has been complemented by others such as bouncy castles for the little ones and train rides through the town, every weekend in December.
Notably, during the last weekend more than 1,000 people have jumped on the train that has traveled the city, and more than 4,000 people have used this activity during the month of December.
Trade Councilman Jerome Gázquez, explained that "this initiative we wanted to encourage and promote local trade offers citizens a variety of quality products and a friendly and personalized service."
Moreover, he added that "the City Council support to small businesses and we encourage a lumbrerenses they shop in our town to boost the tertiary sector of our local economy"
Finally, we mention that this campaign has been developed in collaboration with ASEPLU and the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.
