Over 240 people participate in the I Duathlon "City of Puerto Lumbreras" (16/03/2014)

They have participated at national and international athletes and Olympic triathlete Stuart Hayes or Spanish rider in the world motorcycling Juan Francisco Guevara level.

Athletes have been 10 kilometer run, 40 kilometer bike and 5 other miles away.

The town of Puerto Lumbreras I Duathlon hosted the "City of Puerto Lumbreras" in which participated 250 athletes, including the Scottish triathlete Kimberly Morrison and Olympic triathlete Stuart Hayes were.

Thus, athletes have been 10 kilometer run, 40 kilometer bike and 5 other miles away.

The 10 kilometers made those two turns to street circuit that runs through the town.

By now, the athletes have done 40 miles by bike in 3 laps on a circuit that starts from the Sports City to Puerto Lumbreras Almendricos.

Finally, participants run 5 kilometers to complete the test which consists of a total of 55 kilometers.

In this sense, the regional championship I Duathlon "City of Puerto Lumbreras" has been organized by the Trilumb Club, in collaboration with the Department of Youth and Sports of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.

Furthermore, Aragon explained that "more than 240 people participated in this duathlon, a record in this type of testing in the Region of Murcia".

The top 3 overall male Robert Brundish have been followed by Alejandro Jimenez and Raul Martinez to third.
