The industrial and agricultural sectors pay less council tax reductions between 40% and 50% (02/04/2014)

The Council aims to increase economic activity and promote the development of industrial and agricultural sector in the town with further reductions in municipal taxes.

The Municipal Council has approved tax reductions in the Construction, Installation and Works (ICICI), with reductions between 40% and 50% for buildings, facilities and works carried out in the industrial and agricultural sector.

The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras continues to push new measures to increase economic activity in the town and make the industrial and agricultural sector in one of the engines of the local economy.

Thus, the Municipal Council has approved tax reductions in the Construction, Installation and Works (ICICI), with reductions between 40% and 50% for buildings, facilities and works carried out in the industrial and agricultural sector.

In this sense, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia García, explained that "what we want with these new measures is to stimulate economic activity of the municipality supporting new projects in these sectors so that council tax suit the current socio-economic situation. "

The present socio-economic situation involves an adjustment in market prices, thereby reducing the items of material execution, which directly affects the tax on buildings, installations and works.

For this reason, the City Council has wanted to adapt to the reality these values ​​in order to boost economic activity in the town and make the industrial and agricultural sector in one of the engines of the local economy.

To do this, reductions of between 40% and 50% are incorporated into the Tax on Construction, Installations and Works for the industrial and agricultural sector, being established as follows:

So, have approved tax reductions in the Construction, Installation and Works (ICICI) of 43.46% for industrial buildings, 48.08% for industrial buildings diaphanous height and 43.83% for sheds or warehouses without enclosures .

In addition to industrial use, there have been reductions for agricultural use facilities as farm and agricultural industry 39%, agriculture and livestock buildings and airy height with 44% and finally a reduction of 50.55% for construction sheds or warehouses without enclosures.
