Civil Protection Puerto Lumbreras rescues an endangered species of Eagle Owl that was wound (26/08/2014)

Civil Defence volunteers have rescued the Owls and have it delivered to the Center for Wildlife Species Recovery and "The Valley" for recovery.

It is a protected and endangered species.

Personal Emergency Service of Civil Protection of Puerto Lumbreras has rescued a protected endangered Owl who was injured in a farm located in the natural setting of the resort species.

As reported by Civil Protection, had evidence that the animal was wounded by a neighbor who reported that a "disoriented" and that could be a real owl bird was.

Thus, after the animal rescue, civil protection staff has delivered Owl Recovery Center and Fauna Species "The Valley", managed by the Service for the Protection and Conservation of the region.

The natural surroundings of the town of Puerto Lumbreras has some endangered species such as the tortoise (Testudo graeca), the eagle owl (Bubo bubo), or Ratchet (coracias garrulus).
