Cintia Martinez was crowned Queen of the Festival of Puerto Lumbreras 2014 (14/09/2014)

The gala was presented by journalist Encarna Murcia Talavera and Elijah, part of the dance group "Los Vivancos".

More than 2,000 people attended the 2014 Dancing Queen of Puerto Lumbreras.

Cintia Martinez was crowned Queen of the Fiestas de Puerto Lumbreras 2014, after being elected by popular vote by more than 2,000 people who attended the gala of the 56th edition of Dancing Queen.

At 2200 hours the night began for the ladies with the official reception by the Municipal Corporation.

During the ceremony, the outgoing queen, Ana Isabel Diaz, gave his crown to Cintia Martinez, Queen of the Festival 2014, which was chosen among the 9 candidates vying for the title.

Notably ladies Dancing Queen this year are Maria Martínez Andreo, Basma Benhmirrou, Alejandra García Esteban, Mónica García González, María Luz Gázquez González, Laura Lopez Ayala, Tatiana Martinez Avilés and Lorena Sanchez Merlos.

Thus, the stage came alive with "The Vivancos" one of the most popular dance groups in our country and internationally who delighted the more than 2,000 attendees with his latest show which is touring many countries.

Finally, after the coronation of the new incoming Queen, dance opened with the traditional waltz accompanied by the Queen of the Festival 2014.

Among those attending this year's Dancing Queen, said the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, the general director of Educational Quality, Innovation and Attention to Diversity, María Begoña Iniesta, as well as the mayor of Fortuna Catherine Smith, the general secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Fernando López Miras, as well as Lorca and Totana councilors and representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and ASEPLU.

Like every year, the event was organized by the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, and was sponsored by Yahtzee Group Lirola Group Elecnor, Investment Rustisol, Telemag, Radio Nogalte, Fitness and Gym Space Tourist Consortium Nogalte Medina.
