This afternoon at 17h a talk for the detection and prevention of Breast Cancer in the Women's Center celebrated, and Sunday at 10.30am concentration in the Plaza of the Constitution and a Solidarity March that will be held until the Nuestra Church. Sra. Del Rosario.
The source water is colored pink balloons and pink ribbons will be distributed, and a mass of people united against breast cancer are expected.
So it will be on Sunday 19 October, the town of Puerto Lumbreras to mark the International Day Against Breast Cancer.
The initiative, organized jointly by the Spanish Association Against Cancer of the town and the town of Puerto Lumbreras, celebrates its sixth edition and will start with a concentration at 10.30am in the Plaza of the Constitution, and a popular march that will attendees to the Rosary Church, where a Mass was celebrated in honor of those who have or have had the disease.
"For the sixth consecutive year the town of Puerto Lumbreras drives this massive concentration whose basic objective is to promote the information and counseling on disease measures and early detection" says the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, who has lumbrerenses encouraged all to participate in this joint initiative.
