The Governing Council has given its approval to the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS) to allocate a total of 230,000 euros to 70 seats in the Home Care Service of Puerto Lumbreras during 2015.

This service aims to provide better care for dependent older people requiring special support for activities of daily life and increase their autonomy.

Thus, actions related to personal care and household activities or domestic sphere are included.

The regional government allocates over this year more than 1.6 million euros to continue offering the service of home help to those who request and fulfill the requirements.
