Puerto Lumbreras held the fourth edition of the Christmas sweets.
In this edition the winners were Irene Lopez has won the first prize with his 'Sighs' in Puerto Lumbreras, and Milagros Herrero took first prize in the hamlet of La Esparragal Station with its 'Cream of Marcona almond', both awarded a basket of typical products of Christmas.
Moreover, among the sweet participants have highlighted, cakes, sandwich cookies, rolls, cordial and milk sweets and chocolates of various shapes and flavors.
On the other hand the second prizes were for Juan Andrés Gázquez and Antonio Mateos, and third prize for Irene Fernandez and Mª Carmen González, with sweets like cakes and muffins hair Rudolf the Reindeer in Puerto Lumbreras, and almond shortbread and alfajores Honey in The Esparragal Station.
The initiative, sponsored by the City also featured a subsequent tasting sweets on which more than one hundred lumbrerenses.
Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maribel Martinez, explained that "each year more people who join this initiative, so this year we have organized the contest in Puerto Lumbreras and the hamlet of the season- The Esparragal which was held for the second year, and in total there have been 60 participants with their best sweet ".
