The City Council launches a new program 'Personal Routes to Employment' to promote employment (12/01/2015)

Personal Routes to Employment over 3 areas: social skills, job search and self-employment and job prospects.

The City of Puerto Lumbreras has launched the new program "Personal Routes to Employment" (IPE) in order to promote employability in the town.

The program, created through the Innovation Centre, Training, Employment and Business (CIFE 2) consists of different theoretical and practical training workshops to promote development and specialization in the professional profile of citizens.

According to the Councillor for Employment, Sustainable Development and European Projects, Salvadora Martínez "the aim of Personal Routes to Employment Program is to facilitate and promote the development of personal, social and work skills of citizens so that they are in a favorable position to the job search. "

Thus, Personal Routes to Employment created by the City Council over 3 areas: social skills, actively seeking employment and self employment as a work.

Specifically, has already begun to be taught the theoretical and practical workshop tools for active job search, in which participants learn to create your resume in different ways and to draft a cover letter, interview preparation and selection job search online.

On the other hand, social skills will be enhanced through a workshop to improve personal and professional skills during days 19, 21, 26 and 28 January 1030 at 13.30 at the Center for Entrepreneurship.

With this workshop attendees will develop skills to effectively use various skills, improve strategic communication and increase motivation, reflect on the quality of staff work and expand the network.

Also in the field of self-employment, a workshop on 17 and 19 February from 10:00 to 1:30 p.m. will be made.
