For the day were organized plays, competitions, workshops, hiking trails, musical performances and food to commemorate the Day of Working Women.

The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has hosted a day of living in which involved nearly 200 local women coinciding with the 'Women's Month'.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Lina Gázquez, joined the day which included several workshops in which more than 200 women participated.
In this sense, Maria Angeles Tunisia noted that it is "one thought for all women of the town and organized in collaboration with all our women's associations to celebrate the Day of Working Women initiative."
Also, the event had a meal in which the municipality dishes were tasted.
Women also participated throughout the day in various workshops and hiking trails.
In conclusion, Maria Angeles Tunisia recalled that during the entire month of March, "the Department of Equality launched a program of activities for women that includes more than 60 cultural, sporting and recreational initiatives. All activities take place at the Center Women offering new spaces, and where also women's associations in our municipality is located ".
