In this regard, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, explained that "the new municipal budgets prioritize their goals in 5 main areas: Social Policy, Employment, Education, Economic Development, Investment and Utilities".

The council of finance, Januarius Pérez, explained that "the budgets of the City of Puerto Lumbreras 2015 are defined as responsible and efficient, with an eminently social, prioritizing support the neediest sectors, sectors aimed at creating employment and with a clear objective, growth and municipal improvement ".
