During the day a chocolate and a giant paella, whose proceeds will benefit the lumbrerense Association of Patients with Alzheimer's (VILLAGE) was performed.
The day also included a pilgrimage along the Rambla de Vilerda, a Mass sung by Chorus and Dance in the Chapel of the Virgen del Carmen in the hamlet of La Tercia, and a day of living with paella and traditional games.
The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras held throughout the day, a pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, to benefit the lumbrerense Association of Alzheimer (VILLAGE).
So the day has had a Procession and Mass in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, Patroness of Cabeza de la Jara.
In addition, the pilgrimage has been beneficial and proceeds will go to the Association of Alzheimer VILLAGE.
Specifically, at 10.30am in the morning began the day with a caring chocolate 1 euro to benefit the Alzheimer's Association, and was held 11.00h output from the Nuestra Church. Mrs. Virgen del Rosario.
Here was carried in procession to the Virgin by the Rambla de Vilerda up to the Chapel located in the hamlet of La Tercia.
There was officiated a Mass sung by the choir and dance group in honor of the patron saint of Cabeza de la Jara, and subsequently held a day of living with solidarity paella, and popular games for the little ones.
The Chapel of the Virgen del Carmen is located in the hamlet of La Tercia in the Rambla de Vilerda, and was built in 1945.
In conclusion, the Mayor, Maria Angeles Tunisia, "grateful to all citizens who have participated in this event in honor of the Virgen del Carmen with caring for Alzheimer's patients purposes of our people."
