More than 40 children become familiar with the sport and nature through Campus II Outdoor Activities held in Puerto Lumbreras (22/07/2015)

Children up to 16 years learn to care for horses, hiking and excursions made by the natural setting of Puerto Lumbreras II through Campus Summer Outdoor Activities.

The Mayor has visited the new summer school held from Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m. during the months of July and August.

The town of Puerto Lumbreras hosts the Summer Camp Outdoor Activities in which more than 40 students perform various activities related to nature.

So, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, Councillor for Youth, Andy Lopez and the Councillor for Sports, Juan Francisco Carrillo, visited the students participating in this second edition of the Summer Camp outdoor activities, in one of the sessions in which the students have learned how to care and riding, archery, hiking or climbing among others related with nature sports.

Thus, under the theme "Learning by playing in nature ', the summer school is aimed at children up to 16 years and is held during the months of July and August in Puerto Lumbreras.

Thus, among their activities they include hiking trails in the natural setting of the town to know the typical flora and fauna.

Also, more than 40 students participating in this educational and leisure time initiative, know the care they require horses, learn to brush them, feed them and even receive a first guidelines on how to ride a horse.

Finally, among the initiatives included in this Campus II Outdoor Activities include sports activities such as mountain biking, swimming pools and even made trips to the main tourist environments Puerto Lumbreras.
