The Socialist Party of Puerto Lumbreras through its Municipal Group requested at its plenary on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 a review and lowering municipal taxes Public Service LITTLE CULTURE nursery schools for next year and beyond, as a service important for reconciling work and family life.
We believe that the salary adjustment families who are suffering, together with the increase in every one of the prices of basic services to which citizens must cope every day, forcing many people to forgo certain expenses.
This leads many families decide to accept jobs with little income or stay home to care for their children to be a price unaffordable public spending kindergartens of the municipality.
We asked from the Socialist Party of serving the lumbrerenses Families have a municipal nursery next to each school in our town if due to the high municipal taxes many families can not enjoy this service, thus leaving a large number of seats unfilled in our nurseries, giving the case that some of them are almost deserted by the lack of children.
Besides every summer we see how despite these high municipal taxes during the months of July and August several of them close leaving children concentrated in one nursery, a fact which means even less when our municipal nursery are subsidized with 200,000 euros per year .
For these reasons, the Socialist Party has called the agreement of all the political forces of the municipal corporation to be applicable to a downward revision of public prices for childcare, and a review of the bonuses that apply to single parents, large families, families at risk of social exclusion etc., so our prices are kindergartens, more just, equal and affordable for families of Puerto Lumbreras.
