Municipal pools of Summer municipality contains new courses with healthy activities such as fitness for the 3rd age and therapeutic swimming for seniors.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has launched during the months of July and August a program of healthy activities for people over the town.
The initiative consists of specialized therapeutic programs in swimming and fitness where dozens of elderly people in the municipality involved.
In this sense, the Councillor for Sports, Juan Francisco Carrillo, explained that "these activities are of particular interest, since they are an alternative for leisure during the summer months. Specifically, it has launched a therapeutic swimming program in which older exercisers with limbs and joints in the aquatic environment.

On the other hand, it has also launched the fitness activity for the 3rd age out of the water with exercises that improve motor skills, flexibility, strength and speed.
Significantly, the therapeutic swimming takes place from Monday to Friday from 9:50 to 10: 40h in the municipal swimming pools summer and the price is 26 euros per fortnight.
Similarly, fitness activity for seniors takes place from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 09: 50h.
