The Governing Council meets in Puerto Lumbreras (07/10/2015)

The Governing Council has made its weekly meeting at the Casa Cultural Center of Puerto Lumbreras Elves, which have tried various topics of interest for the development of the municipality.

Education and Infrastructure

Also, it is planning an industrial water treatment plant (WWTP) in Gonar, town whose town belongs to Puerto Lumbreras part and part to Huércal Overa (Almería).

It will treat 150 m3 / day, and the total amount of the works to tender is estimated at 700,000 euros.

On employment, the municipality will have a mixed employment and training program for young people within the Youth Guarantee program, endowed with 116,000 euros of which 15 young people will benefit.

Students who obtain a fit at the end of the program will receive a professional certificate level gardening, with recognition at the national level.

Also during the working meeting, the President of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, has signed the Golden Book of Puerto Lumbreras.

In addition, after completion of the meeting, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and the president of the Community, along with members of their respective teams of Government, attended the Mass that was officiated this morning in honor of the patron saint, the Virgen del Rosario in his name day.

Finally, the Mayor said that "we want to thank the President and his team of government who have come to Puerto Lumbreras to celebrate its Governing Council, on a special day for all lumbrerenses as in the October 7, the feast of the patron saint, the Virgen del Rosario.
