Councillor for Education and directorial Institute of Occupational Safety and Health have delivered this morning the awards oriented training and guidance and safety school school campaign.
The first three winners of the contest were Francisco Jose Garcia, Lorena Calvo and the Arab Miloud Slimani.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education, participated in the campaign "Security Grows", promoted by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
The program moves to the school environment awareness raising and training in the field of risk prevention in everyday life.
"The main objective of Security Grows it is to raise awareness about accidents at school by a firm commitment to the development of a culture of prevention in schools, home and work. This is to transfer awareness-raising and training the field of risk prevention, thereby achieving safe and preventive behaviors and attitudes in school, "stressed the Councillor for Education, Sonia Lopez.
The program, which has enjoyed the participation of students from 5th year of primary schools in Puerto Lumbreras, has included numerous training sessions and a drawing competition in which participating school centers.
The Councillor for Education, Sonia Lopez, and the directorial Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Maria Angeles Villanueva, have made awards of the campaign to 10 winning students.
During the awards ceremony, Sonia Lopez has placed particular emphasis on the importance of the project as "the program is based on child safety as a prerequisite for safety at work and promote healthy attitudes step. These initiatives will reduce the number of accidents and improve the quality of life of little ones. "
