President of the Board Virgen del Rosario trumpeted Christmas in Puerto Lumbreras (12/12/2015)

He kicks off the Christmas program that includes more than 40 leisure activities, culture and sports, among others occurred.

Last night began the Christmas program with the opening speech by the Chairman of the Board Virgen del Rosario, Antonio Quiñonero, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church.

So, more than a hundred people attended the event.

Thus, Antonio Quiñonero thanked the government team of the City of Puerto Lumbreras "to be chosen preacher of Christmas in this 2015".

In addition, during his opening speech he stressed the need "to reflect and think about Christmas at this time of Advent and to contemplate the great mystery of the Incarnation of the Son of God in the womb of Mary".

On the other hand, the preacher wished all attendees "a happy Christmas days in the company of loved ones with a deep feeling prosperous in the figure of Baby Jesus."

After the reading of the Proclamation, the Councillor for Culture, Maria Victoria Jerez, and the Queen of the Festival 2015, Marta Cayuela, the preacher delivered a commemorative plaque.

Note that this activity is part of the special Christmas program that includes more than fifty of leisure, culture and sport.

Quiñonero Antonio Lopez was born in Puerto Lumbreras on August 9, 1963. Military career went very young town and returned in 2000 to retire by a traffic accident.

It is a great lover of Holy Week and part of the Virgen del Rosario Board since 2000. In 2009 he was appointed chairman of the board and still holds this position.
