The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez has this morning signed a collaboration agreement with the President of 'Club Basketball Lumbreras', Gabriel Garcia, to grant the management of municipal sports hall, located on Calle San Javier and staffing 10,000 euros to the entity, with the aim of promoting sport among local citizens.

Lumbreras Basketball Club has received $ 10,000 for the organization and promotion of the participation of its members in official competitions for the various categories of existing equipment, training of sports coaches and advocacy organization based basketball.

By signing this agreement the Club is also committed to take over the management and maintenance of the facilities of the Sports Pavilion, controlling access to facilities, the opening of the Pavilion with appropriate time to demand from users and conducting all activities necessary for the operation of the facility.

Basketball School and its teaching sports techniques, is also funded by the signing of this agreement so it can continue the refinement of technique and tactics increase in the categories of Benjamin, juvenile, infantile and cadets, both male and female.

LUMBRERAS BASKETBALL CLUB

Lumbreras Basketball Club was founded on March 6, 1992.
