Book Week begins in Puerto Lumbreras (17/04/2008)

The Councillor for Education and Culture, Isabel García, along with the writer lumbrerense, Carmen Martinez, presented this morning at the Municipal Library Esparragal-The Station, the programming of the Book Week scheduled from 21 to 27 April organized by the Department of Education and Culture and the General Directorate of Books, Archives and Libraries.

Under the banner "Discover the magical world of books', there have been more than a dozen activities that will begin next Monday

School Competition "Library Detective", where fifth grade students participate in all primary schools in the municipality.

The next day will pass with the workshop "Reading Promotion with People with Disabilities', in collaboration with the Association ADICA.

On Wednesday, Day of the Book, will be the appointment of the best readers in 2007 in the categories of children, youth and adult, where after the event will take place at the Cultural Center and to the public, the children's puppet show "Little Red Riding Hood Red ', with the help of The Carnations Theatre Company.

On Thursday, April 24, the magical world of books visit the IES 'Rambla de Nogalte, the Public Library of The Esparragal-Station and the Municipal Park, which will be held on the latter, several storytellers of the Editorial Edelvives .

Lumbrerense Author, Carmen Martínez, will also present his latest children's book "Stories and poems for Hernan" on Friday, April 25 at the Cultural Center.
