The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and Regional Representative, Pedro Antonio Sanchez and the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pedro Alberto Cruz accompanied by the mayors of Youth, Mariano Carrasco and Councillor for Culture, Isabel García, inaugurated this morning the International Competition 'Explum Contemporary Art' which became one of pop art encounters with the greatest impact within and outside the Region of Murcia for its strong interdisciplinary character.
This meeting considered Competition Council for the first year, was organized jointly by the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through the Directorate General for Cultural Promotion and the Institute for Youth, Cajamurcia Foundation, National Radio Spain, newspaper La Verdad, Punto Radio and the company lumbrerense Blumen Riviera.
In this V edition is estimated an attendance of over 5,000 visitors during the two days of the contest, the various acts that make Explum as art exhibitions, video projections, photography, and how could it be otherwise music.
This Festival is increasingly consolidated, increases both the number of young artists like the audience to the different exhibitions.
08 Explum The festival opens the season of festivals in the country, at a meeting in which the lovers of art and music can not miss.

Works

Music

The musical highlight will be served this evening in the vicinity of the caves Nogalte Castle, where starting at 17.30 hours, a huge concert will take place over 15 hours, with the presence of Albert Plá Def with Two, Digital 21, Dogma Crew, Mojo Project Soundsystem, Humbert Humbert, and DJ's Alexander Kowalski, Oliver Hunemann, Alex Under and Alex Acosta.
