The director of the Institute for Youth, Veronica Lopez, accompanied by the councilman of Youth council of Puerto Lumbreras, Mariano Carrasco, and the secretary general of the Association 'Colleagues', Rafael Moral, today released the eighth edition of the Summer School Spanish Confederation of Associations of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender 'colleagues' to be held in Puerto Lumbreras 23 and 27 July.
The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pedro Alberto Cruz participants will receive this Friday, July 25, at the Archaeological Museum of Murcia.
It is the first time that 'colleagues' chooses the Murcia Region to celebrate this summer school to be held at the Youth Hostel 'Cabezo de la Jara' of Puerto Lumbreras.
About 150 young people from different Spanish communities participate in this meeting entitled "Building Networks' and where you will develop several papers related to development cooperation, education, volunteerism, youth participation and social networks, and health and mediation as a conflict resolution.
Veronica Lopez will participate on Thursday, August 24, with a presentation on youth participation in which will discuss the projects and activities from the Youth Institute are developed to encourage youth participation.
The sessions will also address issues such as bullying and social exclusion in the classroom, new challenges for youth participation in Europe, immigration and multiculturalism, health and sexology, and challenges for women.
The conference will serve to structure specific actions to develop this year in different towns in the region.
In addition, we have organized a series of recreational and leisure travel parallel to the city of Murcia, cultural visits and dinners coexistence.
