French, Dutch, British and German tourists from Puerto Lumbreras (09/08/2008)

Agosto'08 09 .- More than 150 people from France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, Argentina, Cádiz, Catalonia, Aragon, Madrid, Almeria, Palma de Mallorca and different municipality in the Region of Murcia, among other provinces, have visited the tourist office for the past two months in order to meet the tourism products offered by the municipality.

During the summer it is customary to see the streets of Puerto Lumbreras with an influx of people, especially from foreign countries.

Likewise, those who have come to the municipality, have sparked some interest to know the local holiday celebrations, Castle Nogalte, Casas-Cueva, rural tourism and outdoor sports like hiking in the Cabezo de la Jara, as well as stay at the Youth Hostel.

During the last month has been more common in Puerto Lumbreras stay of a visitor "pass" due to displacement from the origin to the Andalusian coast, looking in the municipality "shelter" from the long journey from their journeys, according to provided by the Tourism Office of Puerto Lumbreras.
