City, Aseplu and Conservation Authority Industrial Park signed an agreement to promote business, trade and tourism of the municipality (11/08/2008)

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, President of the Confederation of Employers of the Shire of Upper Guadalentín (ASEPLU), and the President of the Association for the Conservation of Puerto Lumbreras Industrial Estate, Diego Navarro Azor, signed this morning a collaboration agreement to create a framework for cooperation to promote business, trade and tourism of the municipality, the promotion of partnerships, and job creation.

This collaboration will materialize in the conduct of business revitalization actions, advocacy and dissemination and training business, in providing business expertise, in the organization and development of activities to promote the image of Puerto Lumbreras, and the granting of local trade.

ASEPLU CONVENTION

Specifically, we have allocated 52,000 euros, 26,000 euros for each of the annual periods 2008 and 2009 for program information and guidance to small businesses, helping to organize municipal booth at fairs and business promotion events and commercial collaboration in advocacy and promotion of local handicrafts, conducting training programs for companies and local businesses on corporate culture and scheduling information and advisory services to businesses and entrepreneurs and for the Annual Competition and Entrepreneurship finance the operating costs of the headquarters of the Association

Aseplu represents, promotes and defends this way, the general interests of commerce, hospitality, industry and other sectors of the municipality and the provision of information services, counseling and other companies engaging in such activities, collaborating in case with government.

Urban conservation entity Industrial Estate

The Urban Conservation Bank Industrial Estate, which includes all employers in the polygon, will address the functions of conservation, maintenance and provision of certain public utilities within the industrial area of Puerto Lumbreras.

The Conservation Bank was established by consensus among the entrepreneurs of the polygon and the City, given the need to improve and condition the industrial area that now comprises many companies, lumbrerense economic engine, and experiencing steady growth, welcoming new companies each year to the municipality a place to develop their business.

Also, this entity was created to better manage the Polygon, with direct participation of the owners of industrial buildings and firms in it, ensuring that both companies are on the estate and as the new ones installed an adequate level of public services.

Thanks to the agreement signed today, the City allocated to the Conservation Authority Polygon annual financial grant to be allocated to maintain all these services, servicing and maintenance, amount to be determined annually and will feature 20,000 euros for the 2008 fiscal year .
