The Immaculate Conception School will have eight classrooms for kindergarten and primary (17/09/2008)

The Councillor for Education, Isabel Garcia and Council Member of Rural Development, Jose Maria Parra this morning visited the public school 'Immaculate Conception' to check 'in situ' development which will have the redevelopment of the school that will increase the number of classrooms in kindergarten and primary education, with respect to the 79 seats and the 190 children of primary current.

It is envisaged that in the coming months begin work on the new extension of the parish school at Station-El Esparragal has a budget of 600,000 euros and an occupancy of 1,000 square feet on two floors (ground and first floor .)

The works will include the creation of a building adjacent to the existing building which will be communicated on the first floor through a gateway and have its own external access on the ground floor.

Specifically on the ground floor will be located a multipurpose room, four bathrooms (two girls and two boys), janitorial, warehouse and four kindergarten classrooms will have access to an outdoor patio for each room itself, as the current distribution flat and can be modified later as needed ..

Also on the first floor are located the four primary school classrooms and two toilets, with a total capacity of 170 pupils, 100 pupils and 70 children of primary school students.

Garcia also emphasized the creation of a rural multi-sports center will be located on a site adjacent to the new extension of the school and will complement the sporting activities of this village of over 3,000 inhabitants.
