The Governing Council today approved a decree regulating the direct concession of subsidies to the municipalities of Cartagena and Puerto Lumbreras for the construction and equipping of two separate incubators for women, with funding from the Ministry of Social Policy , Women and Immigration through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia.
Approved aid reaches the amount of 1,020,957 euros, of which 592,957 euros will be for the city of Cartagena, whose catchment area also includes the towns of Mazarron and La Union, and 427,982 euros for the Puerto Lumbreras, who also provide women serving Lorca and Aguilas.
The aim of these incubators is to provide all the information and guidance necessary to facilitate the incorporation of women as entrepreneurs, to the regional economy.
They provide self-service and career counseling, as well as the accompaniment to the Business Plan, which will include the evaluation and selection of the idea, identifying needs and technological potential, as well as financial and legal advice.
