The traditional parade of floats was held this afternoon has broken a record number of floats on the occasion of the festivity 2008 in Puerto Lumbreras.
31 floats in total have encouraged the large audience with its spectacular waste of imagination and colorful through the streets of Puerto Lumbreras, dividing flowers and candy during the parade.
The original carriages and accompanied by the infectious music of the bands have marched this afternoon from the Plaza of the Constitution in its usual route through the streets of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Avenida de Almeria, where nearly four hours later arrive at the site starting.
The jury composed of representatives of various groups and associations such as the Sectoral Council of Senior Citizens, Women's Sectoral Council, the School Board, the Socialist Party, Silybum and Aseplu Association and representatives of different political parties.
The members of this jury awarded a prize of 1,000 euros first prize, 600 euro for the second and third prize 300 euros.
You also get special prize (300 euros) to the coach who has best illustrate a regional issue.
Besides the cash prizes are handed out trophies to the most original float, the most organized and the most current.

Similarly children ladies parade in their own float also dressed in traditional costume huertano.
