Workshops Kick Boxing, Defense, and People in Puerto Lumbreras Taichi (15/10/2008)

The Kick-Boxing Association of Puerto Lumbreras in collaboration with the Department of Sports has organized workshops of martial arts that have taken place in the Sports Pavilion Street San Javier.

These workshops are free of charge, have been aimed at all residents of Puerto Lumbreras, regardless of age of the participants.

The riders have learned the basics of self-defense techniques to function in daily life safer, as well as strengthening workouts and body and mind to create a balance.

The workshops have been divided into three sessions, combat techniques, where techniques have been developed and May Kick Thai Boxing, for one hour.

Defense techniques, which were held for two hours and Thai-Chi covering the last hour of the morning.

The president of the Martial Arts Association of Puerto Lumbreras, an expert in these techniques, taught the 40 participants of different training techniques that help strengthen both body and mind, helping to create a balance.

KICK BOXING AND MUAYTHAI

Kickboxing is a martial art of Japanese origin in which techniques are mixed fight or boxing match with some martial arts such as Karate and Taekwondo.

It is similar to Muay Thai, but the blows with the elbow and knee are generally not allowed.

While not the ultimate martial art can be a fighter full a tight race for the other fighters who prefer other types of arts marciales.El Kick boxing has its origins in Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing, although the latter name has more to do with the sports version of MUAYTHAI.

Kick boxing was created as a contact sport.

PERSONAL DEFENSE

The Department of Sports organized in the municipality, in early summer for the first time, a specific course of 'Defense' which was very successful registration.

This technique's main objective is to acquire the basic skills to defend against a possible assault or a real confrontation.

The techniques do not require years of practice to implement them since these techniques must be practiced and reviewed continuously and mentally able to use them so well reflected in any situation.

With the completion of this course in addition to mastering certain physical movements, also gets to be psychologically prepared to react appropriately in situations of violence, physical force.

THAI-CHI

The Thai-Chi is a discipline that connects body, mind and environment by performing a sequence of slow, fluid and focused.

Its origin is in the Chinese martial arts based on the observation that the disciples did their natural surroundings and animals.

In fact, in many of the movements made during the Thai-chi emulate the movements of some animals in their interaction with nature.
