The basis of Explum 2009 were released this morning on the website www.explum.com.
The sixth edition of International Contemporary Art Fair was marked by developments such as the production of projects and works that mark the last artistic behavior with special attention to young artists, the quality of the jury and the comprehensive proposal of works by emerging artists.
Works can be submitted by young artists under 35 years until 10 November and will include a total budget of your project and specify their implementation: development, production and assembly as well as its goal and work plan.
In addition to continuing in her line of international, Explum reinforces the concept of competition with the quality of the selection committee which shall consist of the director's meeting, Miguel Angel Cayuela, art critic, independent curator and Director of the journal Artecontexto ', Alicia Murría, the directors of the Gallery' Journey Four ', Silvia Inés Ortiz and Lopez-Quesada, and the artist Arash Moori.
The presentation of works should be online by November 10, where after the first selection, artists will be contacted by phone to proceed the shipment of books and can make the selection and exposure.
The jury will be announced on 25 November in www.explum.com and in different media.
The committee will select projects based on their artistic interest, originality and feasibility of implementation.
For the acquisition of works Explum has 10,000, and the pieces chosen are scheduled to become part of the public library Explum CONTEMPORARY ART, fund established by the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras in order to publicize the work of artists today through its exhibitions and publications dissemination.
