Last night was held in Puerto Lumbreras the conclusion of the annual charity dinner Cancer Association of Puerto Lumbreras held with residents of the municipality to raise money to fight this disease.
The event was attended by members of the Local Assembly of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Puerto Lumbreras, headed by its President, Ana M ª Cerrillo, members of various associations of Puerto Lumbreras, as well as mayors Team Municipal Government, among them were the mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez and Health Councillor, Gloria Matilde Garcia, as well as 500 lumbrerenses who contributed to the charity dinner, raising almost 3,500 euros.
The local board president of the association, Ana Mari Cerrillo, thanked the mayor of the municipality, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, collaboration has always shown to the Association.
On the other hand, members of Local Assembly in Puerto Lumbreras AECC delivered four plaques of appreciation to those who worked for eight years with the association in the office of treasurer, vice-treasurer and two members.
The charity event was held at the Restaurant Guirrete the hamlet of The Season-The Esparragal, where over 200 were raffled off gifts to the guests, donated by many traders in the municipality.
