Teachers and students of the institute lumbrerense working on this project entitled 'Building a Europe without violence through school'
In this work we have associated a number of countries like Italy, Greece and Romania
"It is a privilege for the municipality that the institute participates in initiatives that help to increase respect and tolerance among peoples of Europe", with these words rated the Councillor for Education, Culture and Celebration of the City of Puerto Lumbreras, Isabel Garcia, municipality's participation in the Lifelong Learning Programme of the EU.
This educational program has been formalized through a project developed by the IES Nogalte Rambla.
Many teachers and students at the school working with the objective of 'Building a Europe without violence', which will help to increase respect and tolerance in the classroom.
Several countries such as Romania, Greece and Italy have been associated with this work in order to collaborate and provide an overview regarding the problem of violence in the European Union.
To fulfill this educational effort, the institute lumbrerense Nogalte Rambla has many volunteer teachers.
Through this measure, both teachers and students share culture, language, cuisine and customs of the peoples of Europe members.
The Lifelong Learning Programme is the main funding mechanism in Europe in the field of education and training with a budget of 7,000 euros to finance all projects and activities.
It is a measure covering the period 2007-2013 aimed at young people learn from childhood to adulthood.
With this, the IES Nogalte of Puerto Lumbreras stimulates the exchange, cooperation and mobility between their education systems and training within the European Union.
