The new center will have capacity for 450 students and is being built through an investment of 5 million euros
Councillor for Education, Isabel Garcia, head of the school next to the Sacred Heart, Pedro Sanchez, teachers at the school and representatives of the AMPA visited the works of new infrastructure which will house the school.
The New Education Center and Primary Children will have more than 3,900 square meters is being built through a budget of close to 5 million euros and will have a capacity for 450 students.
"It's very important that the educational community of Sacred Heart school current monitor all the nuances of new infrastructure which will house the center.
The visit has been very successful and both teachers and representatives of the Association of Mothers and Fathers have been surprised with the size and services provided by the new center, "said the Councillor for Education, Isabel Martínez.
The new school will be Sacred Heart 7 kindergarten classrooms, 12 elementary school classrooms, canteen and kitchen, gymnasium, library and laboratories, and two sports courts, one indoor, 800 square meters.
"The new infrastructure will cover the growing demand of students and enhance the services of the present Sacred Heart CP has recently celebrated its 50 anniversary," added Councillor for Education, Isabel García.
The new education center, scheduled to conclude its work next year, will also include eight specialized classes to be assigned to perform activities such as language courses, music, laboratories and new technologies.
Next to the school also is building a nursery to accommodate over 100 children from 0 to 3 years.
This center includes 6 classrooms, canteen and playground playground
