The Department of Nature Conservation (SEPRONA) of the Civil Guard, along with staff from the Directorate General of Livestock and Fisheries in the Region of Murcia, has dismantled a clandestine exploitation of bulls in the town of Puerto Lumbreras that lacked the required authorizations to operate.
The proceedings were initiated after the regional body referred collaboration SEPRONA request for inspection of a pig farm livestock where, apparently, had been spotted cattle bulls illegal provenance.
During the inspection, the farm could be verified as not being intended for breeding pigs, but the stay of 16 bulls and 13 cows bulls.
On the farm were located, plus 4 pups barely a month old.
The animals, which in some cases lacked the mandatory identification ear tags, had been diverted by the owner of his legal fate, the slaughter in an abattoir.
