On the occasion of the celebration of World Environment Day, the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has launched the program 'Environment Week', which this year has many activities that are included under the slogan "Puerto Lumbreras, Green Township."
Among the initiatives that have been organized during this day was the installation of an information booth at the weekly market in which it has given away to visitors with pots that have represented the symbol of World Environment Day.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, along with members of the municipal government, have collaborated on this initiative which has involved more than half thousand lumbrerenses.
''Once again, Puerto Lumbreras shows its commitment to the environment and sustainability through a program that includes numerous activities to raise public awareness about the importance of preserving our environment and promote clean energy, " highlighted the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, during the celebration of this day.
