The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Youth and Sports, will propose at the next full City a motion to agree to join the initiative promoted from her Spanish Federation of Municipalities to establish the Sports Day in Europe.
"From the city of Puerto Lumbreras believe that sport is a tool of integration, education and participation through which collective values are transmitted.

Since 2002, the Diputación de Barcelona organizes the annual Festival of Sport during the first weekend of June.
