The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras was released in the last Full Council the changes made following a restructuring of the Municipal Government Team.
"This revamping of the Municipal Government Team responds to the grouping of fields in order to optimize local resources, as well as better coordination in providing the best services in each of the areas," said the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
After the restructuring, the government team is as follows:
M ª Angeles Tunisia.
Councillor for Employment and Social Policy, has competence in training, employment, local development and European programs.
Keeps your skills Social Policy on social issues, immigration, dependency and family.
David Ginés Piñero.
Councillor for Tourism, Industry and Environment: Keeps your skills in business, tourism, trade and industry.
Assumes new responsibilities in the Environment.
Eliseo Sánchez Plazas.
Councillor for Works and Services: Cleaning keeps your skills in road, water and waste.
Purchase lighting.
Catalina Gázquez.
Councillor for Equal Opportunities: keep your skills in women, children, childcare and voluntary work.
Acquire skills in Citizen Participation.
After this restructuring, the remaining council members of the government team with the same powers are attributed by the Mayor at the beginning of the current legislature.
"Given the current economic situation we wanted to give priority to important issues such as employment and social policies, this has created this new area that will now lead M ª Angeles Tunisia with the aim of coordinating from the same team People all actions aimed at lumbrerenses those found in situations of special need, "said the mayor.
