Municipal council members of the Socialist Group of the City of Puerto Lumbreras have asked on numerous occasions the mayor's Party and his team of government, why still closed the day center of town.
Also, the Socialist opposition is aware that the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), has conducted an audit of public funds invested in the construction of the Centre.
The Popular Party's municipal government hides the results of this audit, so it is clear that something must be clear to management that has taken place.
Puerto Lumbreras Socialists want to show that the work in question is raised on flights of an old pond that is part of the Cultural Heritage of the municipality, to be part of an irrigation system built in the time of Arab domination in the area .
The socialist mayor also stressed that the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras lacks the ownership of the raft on which center is located, as can be seen by clicking the Register of Property of Lorca.
Therefore, if we consider that the investment made over a million and a half euros, grants from the Autonomous Community and the Ministry, and given that the documentation necessary to access public funding is not complete, miss municipal ownership, the Selectmen Socialists consider that the Mayor has some explaining to citizens about what is happening with the Day Care Center and show the Audit.
In conclusion, the Socialists added that the building was begun in 2005, is beginning to show some moisture, which could go further, taking nearly a year over and without providing any activity.
