The four elementary schools in town participated in recreational and educational initiative that aims to show students the operation of the Armed Forces.

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education has organized a training program with guided tours of the General Air Academy San Javier.
About 200 students from schools Immaculate Conception, Assumption Jordan, Juan Antonio López Alcaraz and Sacred Heart, have participated in guided tours in which students were able to see first hand the workings of the General Air Academy in San Javier.
During the conference, students were led by Commander, who showed them the facilities and explained the operation of each of the departments are there in the air base.
In addition, young people visited the flight zone, where they could access some of the planes and planes.
On the other hand, the conference has enjoyed visits to the helicopters, roads, classrooms and halls of the General Air Academy San Javier.
To finish the day, the Department of Education, hosted a breakfast for elementary students who participated in this initiative.
