Pedro Cano

The painter was born in Blanca (Murcia) in 1944.

He began to feel an interest in painting at an early age, and ten years began to paint in oil on his own.

With eighteen years he moved to Madrid, but not until two years later, when he entered the College of San Fernando.

He studied painting under the direction of Antonio López García, Juan Antonio Guijarro or Barjola, among others.

Pedro Cano's works are inspired by direct observation of nature, where the vegetable gardens and orchards and vega del Segura is a key.

The number of trips made by the artist and recent history are universal themes highlighted in the repertoire of Cano.
