Puerto Lumbreras supports Agrarian Mobilization November 21 in Madrid (16/11/2009)

The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, met with representatives of agricultural associations in the municipality and the chairman of the Community Irrigation planning for local participation in the Agrarian Mobilization.

Finally, farmers' associations and the council requested a plan of support for renewable energy that has one of its bases in the agricultural sector and from government support to agriculture and livestock in the face of climate change impacts.

In addition, representatives of agricultural associations propose the implementation of a plan of merger and integration supply cooperative, which enable it to evolve towards a model of cooperative sizing and competitive.
