The town has hosted the traditional Charity Dinner of the Association Against Cancer of Puerto Lumbreras.
The event, attended by over 400 lumbrerenses, also attended by members of the Local Assembly of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Puerto Lumbreras, headed by its President, Ana M ª Cerrillo, members of various associations of Puerto Lumbreras, as well as mayors Municipal Government Team.
The event was hosted in solidarity by the model exconcursante Murcia and television program 'Survivor' and 'Mira quién baila' Oliviares Michel, who encouraged all participants to collaborate with the association to fight this disease.
For its part, the president of the local board of the association, Ana Maria Cerrillo, collaboration thanks consistory has always shown to the Association.
The charity event was held at the Restaurant Guirrete the hamlet of The Season-The Esparragal, where more than 200 raffle gifts donated by many businesses in the town, which was distributed to all guests.
With the conclusion of the annual charity dinner Cancer Association held in the municipality achieved a revenue of more than 3,500 euros which will serve to give the association more resources and support for people with this disease.
