With an investment of 145,000 euros, infrastructure incorporating a multi-tunnel greenhouse of 1,440 square meters that will enhance the marketing flowers and plants in the area.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, with the president of Alimer, Manuel Soler Miras, inaugurated this morning the new nursery and garden plants that the Cooperative has launched Alimer in the municipality.
According to the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, "These new facilities will market the products of the cooperative in the area and also contribute to the municipality's business growth by creating new jobs."
The new facilities have been built through an investment of 145,000 euros, have a multi-tunnel greenhouse of 1,440 square meters, consisting of three vessels of 8 meters wide and 4 meters of eaves height and 5,000 square feet of nursery to outdoors.
The outdoor area for garden incorporates mesh shade screen anti-trips and green, while the covered area was built with 360 meters of galvanized corrugated sheet of 0.6 mm which will produce quality products.
Section of Flowers and Plants Alimer Cooperative currently has 85 partners cut flower producers, and two ornamental plant production partners.
The new nursery and garden located in Puerto Lumbreras allow Alimer market the products produced by its partners and incorporate new productions.
Among the products to be offered in the new facilities include ornamental plants, indoor, outdoor and vegetables.
Also be placed pots, pottery, seeds, bulbs and garden tools, and provide technical advice in the sector.
