The consistory and the Confederation of Employers of Puerto Lumbreras, ASEPLU, have organized this initiative include the Campaign Corporate Christmas with the aim of promoting local businesses
Councilman Companies, Ginés David Piñero, together with the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García, inaugurated this morning the Christmas Craft Market located in the main shopping streets of Puerto Lumbreras.
According to the councilman of Companies, Ginés David Piñero, "the Christmas Craft Market comes with the purpose to promote and stimulate trade in Puerto Lumbreras at this time, while offering consumer promotions and artisan quality products to enable them to shop Christmas without having to travel out of town. "
The Christmas Market, located in the streets and Rigoberta Menchu Lorca, will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 11.00.
About a dozen local businesses and artisans involved in this initiative in which consumers can purchase crafts and culinary products Christmas decorations, as well as products of various sectors such as textiles, toys and jewelry.
In addition, the Christmas Market offers visitors the opportunity to participate in various workshops.
In conclusion, Piñero stressed that "this type of initiative, the municipality and the Confederation of Employers aim to promote local merchants by joining in initiatives that aim to promote their activity in periods when sales increase."
