The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Public Spaces, has undertaken various improvement works in the public park "La Cañada", located in the French Quarter.
Among the actions that have been made, is the inclusion of new street furniture like benches or bins, as well as the placement of new play area which includes slides, swings and a children's tower.
On the other hand, the municipality has installed 120 square feet of rubber flooring in the new children's area, to increase security in the park.
According to the councilman of Public Spaces, Juan Ramón Cayuela, "the council is working to improve parks and public gardens in the municipality.
Another recent actions undertaken by the council, has been the incorporation of new areas of shaded area in different places, gardens and courtyards of schools in the municipality. "
