The Association of Women Business and Professional Social Economy of the Region of Murcia (AMESAL), in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, and the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, has developed the conference aimed at strengthening the role of women in the business.

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and AMESAL Murcia, in collaboration with the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, developed the day 'Coaching Business.

Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Lina Gázquez, the Councillor for Social Policy, M ª Angeles Tunisia, and Vice President of AMESAL Murcia, Guadalupe Rodriguez, presented the event which aims to train women entrepreneurs to strengthen their role in the business.

According to the Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Lina Gázquez, "The aim of this conference is that women are most relevant in business and that are made effective equality policies.

For his part, during the days of 'Business Coaching: a step towards equality', Inmaculada Céspedes, legal technical Amusal analyzed the changes that the social role of women has undergone in recent years.

Another of the speakers at the conference was Maria Jose Navarro, manager of Specialty Chemicals Neoquim, who related his experience as an entrepreneur and highlighted education as one of the main tools to strengthen and to achieve real equality.

On the other hand, 50 women entrepreneurs in the municipality made several practical activities related to Business Coaching.

Guillermo Gomez, a psychologist and professional coach, was responsible for opening the discussion on Business Coaching through practical exercises involving the audience.

Finally, M ª Angeles Tunisia, councilor of Social Policy, was in charge of closing the conference that took place in the new Entrepreneurship Center in the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
