Transportation Center of Puerto Lumbreras makes available to practitioners of the art logistics facilities (08/02/2010)

Lumbrerense The municipality benefits from aid from the Ministry of Public Works concerning the promotion of mobility in the construction of the third phase of the cycle lane Guadalentín Valley

The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, accompanied by the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, today inaugurated the works for integrated action to improve road safety and the facilities of Puerto Lumbreras Transport that will provide professional transport and logistics, a more complete and modern.

General improvement works that have received funding of 278,866 euros, consisted in the replacement and strengthening of lighting, improved perimeter fencing in the western and southern boundaries of the Centre and the provision of lighting beacons on the wall and the extension of sidewalks on the west side.

In addition, there has been an expansion of the video system access control and installation of new signage horizontal and vertical road and parking.

The performance is complemented by the strengthening of the pavement at the entrance and exit road and parking apron and manual implantation of a laundry truck, with the provision of direct access by a motorized sliding door and a protective screen on the track washing.

It has also undertaken expansion of 16.5 meters from sheltering in the parking lot and installing informational signs throughout the campus.

Projects to promote mobility
