The City Council is launching a training program framed within the new street cleaning plan 'Puerto Lumbreras cares' (17/03/2010)

The initiative is part of the new street cleaning plan 'Puerto Lumbreras Cares', which includes new infrastructure, training programs and information campaigns.

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Regional Government and the Cespa cleaning company, has launched a training program on recycling and waste separation in new infrastructure EcoPark.

The initiative is part of the new street cleaning plan that has started the session with the slogan, "Puerto Lumbreras cares."

According to the councilman of Public Service, Eliseo Sanchez, "we have prepared a training environment in the EcoPark Fijo, to provide training programs that target various groups, as it is very important to raise public awareness to make efficient use of all new services, and assist in the sustainable development of Puerto Lumbreras.

Specifically, during the entire month of March, students from four schools participating in environmental training sessions taught by professional cleaning company Cespa.

In addition, the event also aimed at other groups in the municipality as associations of housewives and senior citizens to learn the importance of recycling and waste separation, in addition to operating the new infrastructure EcoPark EcoPark Mobile and fixed.

In this regard, Councillor of Public Service, Eliseo Sánchez, explained that "with the launch of two new Ecoparks in the municipality, one fixed and one mobile, we offer services for the collection of household waste that can not be placed in conventional containers. "

Besides Ecoparque infrastructure, the new street cleaning plan includes other infrastructure such as three new side-loading garbage trucks, two new self-propelled sweepers that will improve urban sanitation, and 513 new trash cans with 2,400 liters for the collection waste.
